Why should I get new M1 Macbook Air 2020

For a long time, I was looking to get new MacBook as replacement for my older MacBook Pro due to its slowness and lack of updates or no option to get newer version of operating system. I wanted to get newer M1 MacBook Air for the following reasons.

• Superior performance: The M1 version was already breaking all benchmark results and the performance far better than earlier versions. 
• Future-proof for next 5 years: Since newer version of M1 MacBook was launched only at 2020, the next few iterations of software will support the laptop and all the new features will support the laptop at least for 5 years. 
• Reliability: The reviewers were praising Apple for delivering on what it had promised, and I am sure the reliability of M1 MacBook Air will exceed the reliability expectation levels. 
• Battery: The last and most impacted feature of the new M1 MacBook Air is the superior and consistent battery performance. If Apple has committed some hours on battery performance, then I am sure it will exceed the expectations with the normal usage.

Feeling bad for trusting Google Photos

Eventually Google had announced that storage for photos will be counted against the defined limit and users need to pay if their photos exceed the limit. So, I had started to look out for alternative online storage choice available for storing photos and most important criteria I have set while choosing online storage option was the affordability. Necessity was lost in getting new mobile phones

Horrible manager with iterative work every-day

After working fiercely for the past 10 days (about 1 and a half weeks) with my manager and with one of the most irritating onsite teams, I wanted to take a short break from work for a few days. However, with the Covid-19 pandemic situation across the globe and severe lockdown restrictions, I had no other choice but to connect back to work the next day post weekend work. Therefore, I was hoping that no new work was assigned by my manager and after a prolonged time, I can spend some quality time with my family. Even though I did not get any new work from the onsite team, my manager was bothering me once in a few minutes to check on my status and to gather a few insights from other account owners. Out of frustration, I used to log off from my office laptop and continue to work on my laptop, as my manager would ping me often for the status update. After completion of work, I used to send the updates to my manager at once and after a few minutes, my manager will call me again to further enhance the information with recent updates. Unnecessary work from Onsite team

So, for past one week I was completely putting in my hard work to complete all the task list shared by those irritating onsite teams and my stupid manager. Out of curiosity, I wanted to check about the submission date for the assigned work and was pushing my manager each day to validate it with the onsite team. Finally, before the weekend during the call, my manager requested onsite team to share expected submission date and further actions on the opportunity shared. I was shell shocked by the response from the onsite team, as they responded back stating that they have shared initial questionnaire to the client point of contact and was awaiting their response. In mean time, the onsite team felt that client might need few information and was requesting offshore team to work on unnecessary documents, before even client shared their requirements. I was getting even more furious and was requesting my manager to drop note stating that myself would be supporting this request post clarifications from client. Exciting travel to surprise my family

The excitement of going home for a long vacation was overshadowing the fact that my manager has approved work from home for continuous two days before my long vacation and I didn’t have any work to be completed for the rest of the week. I kept my travel back to native as a surprise to my family and was pretending that I was on my usual routine in my workplace. However, even being rude with my mom and wife that I was busy with my work, my family was checking about my safety precautions to the Covid-19 pandemic and they were worried about my well-being to the extent that they want me to back to my native as early as possible. Since I had conveyed that I would be busy with my work due to the upcoming long vacation, my family had no other option but to anxiously wait till my arrival, and they were also unaware of the work from trend happening across the technology industry. So, I was traveling to my hometown in my car and was pretending to be in my workplace and my family was unaware of my surprise, and finally, when I reached home my family was shell shocked and couldn’t believe that I have reached home sooner than they expected.
