A voice on the phone sounds exactly like your son, and it is not him. That is one half of it. The other half is the software itself, what these tools actually do once the demonstration ends, and who ends up carrying the risk when they get it wrong.

What you get here

• Ask Kabbalist has been running since 2013 and is still publishing. There are close to 170 articles here you can search.
• We test the tool before we describe it. A demonstration video is not evidence, and a claim about what an AI can do gets checked against what it does on an ordinary afternoon. Advertising and sponsored placement pay for the site, and paid links are labelled. No tool has ever been written about kindly here because somebody paid for the space.
• The questions are the ones families are asking now. Was that really my daughter on the call. Is this app quietly training on everything I paste into it. What can a stranger do with thirty seconds of my voice.

How we work

We use the thing, then we describe it. Where a scam is involved, we trace it as far as it goes, including the part where somebody sensible was fooled, because pretending only careless people get caught helps nobody. Names and dates go in.
